http://huntington.craigslist.org/cto/4230050368…
Found a Skyline for sale around me. It is listed at $22k. It sounds really steep, but what do I know. I couldn't tell you how much a grey market Japanese import should cost.
He says it is a legal titled and licensed, honest to god car. Thought I would let you guys in.
And don't flame me for not providing pics.

It looks so good in the pictures!

sounds like a real pain. a damaged car with a new front clip. lots of odds and ends that seem like they would have you in constant maintenance mode.

I KNOW! That is the EXACT color I want.
Wanting $22k and can't take 2 extra minutes to post a photo!

I live 45 minutes from there, and I'm positive I've never seen this thing driving around that area. Pretty cool it's there, though.

I honestly don't get what goes through a Craigslisters mind...
TXT FOR PICS

That is kinda what I thought. It just sounds like a lot of $$$ for not a lot of car.

well yeah. you send your pics first and then they send theirs. It is common practice.

I lived there for 7 years, I now life 45 minutes away, and I go there all the time. This is a car that would stick out like a sore thumb with flashing lights around all the '05 'Rollas and Accords, and I've never seen it either. I'm guessing it may be an incoming college student?
Do you live on the WV/OH/KY side of things?

I totally understand it in this situation. Skyline sales in the US, legal or not, usually happen on the down low.

Yeah, this one makes sense.

GTS-T, so no 4WD.
RB25DET, so less WHP than a V6 Camry, unless it's not stock (can't imagine someone choosing to mod an RB25 instead of just stepping up to the 26TT though).
Not federally legal. Ain't care if the state you live in likes it, the feds don't. If they catch you with it, it's getting crushed, and you won't be compensated for it.
Too much risk, not enough reward. Couple that with recent accident victim, no pics, and a waaaay high $21k price, and you have a CP. Would you take a mid-mileage 370z over this thing? Because I sure as hell wouldn't...

1) Spend $20k on beat-to-shit and abused R33.
2) Watch the Feds repossess and crush it.
3) Cry.

I live on the Ohio side. Ten minutes from point pleasant. I do agree, I've seen one silver and black supercharged Viper there.. 99 model but, that's it really. I definitely haven't seen that thing though.

I livee there, and I have seen it. I think he lives in the Village. I've had the hardest time getting people to believe that I've seen one of these running around.

I'm a Huntington resident, and I've seen the car in town several times. It's white, and generally no one believes me when I tell them there's one here.

I definitely believe it's there, it's just weird I've never seen the thing.

It's night time, and my phone has a 2 megapixel camera, but here you are:

Picture Time!
I know it's a terrible picture, but it's 9:52 p.m. here, and my phone has a 2 megapixel camera.

That's pretty Damn cool. I can't quite put a lock on where that's at. Seems Familiar though.

20th Street & 6th Avenue, across from the fire department, and diagonal from Stadium Spirits. The fire house is the brick building in the right of the picture, and Stadium Spirits is the illuminated place to the left.

Ah. I'll have to check that out when I come back that way next weekend. I know where that's at. Weird I've never seen it, but then again I spend most of my time in Athens at work.

I think it's only been here for this school semester, so that may be why.
